Your foundation can also be affected by natural occurrences like rain, flooding, and extreme weather. Should your foundation experience major problems due to natural disasters, this warranty will not cover the costs of those repairs. This warranty only covers work performed on the foundation as specifically listed in your contract or scope of work with Mitchco Foundation Repair as provided on the date of service listed. It does not apply to any other services or products, including root barrier systems, drainage correction, and drainage repair services. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact us via phone or email to obtain the forms needed to start the claim filing process. Only the property owner can file a warranty claim. If you sell your home, please contact us for instructions on how to transfer your warranty to the new owner. When your forms have been submitted, we will contact you to schedule a foundation inspection.
The warranty is null and void if full payment of your account is not made within 30 days of the due date, any additional stories or structures are added to the foundation, the structure is on a fault line, you install underground structures or a swimming pool within a certain horizontal distance from the foundation, the foundation is undermined, accidental or intentional damage occurs due to fire, flood, earthquake, wind, or an ‘act of God,’ the structure is not reasonably maintained, and/or maintenance recommendations are not followed.
